The apartment search is over. I have signed a lease and put down my deposit & first month's rent. Big thanks to LM for her help this morning. I would have been a basket case doing that by myself.
I picked the more expensive, but centrally located, apartment. Hopefully I'll be able to fit in a couch or something for guests to use when they come stay with me :)
