Since so many of you (okay, like three... but I think I have five readers, so that's over half) seemed to enjoy (that's what I think when you comment) my Bobcat/Cougar post, I'll take this opportunity to update you. He never called me back. He rescheduled our Wednesday plans, then I texted to say that I couldn't make those... and that's that. Ah well.
And, because you seem to be amused by stories of boy interaction...
On the other side of the age spectrum - internet reserach shows that a guy who just asked me out for drinks (after meeting at the same physical therapy place) is 43 years old. I was tempted to just write "the guy who asked me out for drinks is a potential sugar daddy," but you know, didn't want to be stereotyping. Because that's not funny. Not at all. ;) And the market's down and he's an investment banker. So maybe not so much with the sugar part.
Edit/update - I've emailed the banker.
And the age stuff is pretty much my poor attempts to make you laugh (Sue and I have reconciled the fact that neither of us have humor that translates *that* well to blogs/blog comments, but I'm going to keep trying anyway, dammit). While I may have some ideals for a guy I'd date, age isn't exactly one of them. It *is*, in that there's a minimum level of maturity/shit-togetheritive-ness/actually ready for a relationship/openness to compromises that are associated with relationship sort of thing... which does tend to translate to age. But if the 25 year old had all that, he'd be a better candidate than the 43 year old who doesn't.
Also, writing about dudes is somewhat new to this blog. I'll probably just stick to the funny stuff, because I'm still mildly paranoid that this will eventually come back to bite me in the ass. In an unpleasant way. But provoking laughter > paranoia.
